What is The Phonebook?

The Phonebook is a non-profit, teen-run online magazine that aims to give young or new creatives a platform to share their work. Our magazine is completely free, meaning that there is no fee to read or submit. The Phonebook’s main goal is to make publication accessible for people of all age from all over the world, no matter their background, experience, gender, orientation or race. With our magazine, we hope to create a safe and inclusive space where everyone has a chance to share their creative work with the world.

Our Mission Statement

To produce a free, unique and innovative magazine that displays the works of young and new creatives.

General Information

We typically release one issue at the beginning of every month, and open submissions at the same time we release the monthly publication. We have some mini issues planned for the upcoming year, and some other new things coming very soon. The Phonebook's weekly Instagram publication called Haiku Fridays is always open for submissions (see the SUBMIT page). Our issues are not themed, though some of our planned mini issues may be. Check our Instagram page for constant updates on when we release issues, open submissions, and more.
